the location was decent, but the elephant in the room was the electric shower that barely worked. and honestly, i expected a luxurious room upgrade for my inconvenience, but instead, i got threadbare bedding! i almost thought about leaving a good review, but that sour coffee ruined it completely. what a disappointment.

Recommend it for families
I was there with my family and the staff were cute! They helped us feel right at home and suggested some great local spots we would never have found on our own.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

We absolutely loved the central location, right by the waterfront, allowing us to explore the vibrant Malecón and visit the fun Iguana Park with our kids. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially in arranging our taxi to the airport, making our departure smooth and stress-free.
The only downside was the absence of an elevator, which made carrying our luggage up three flights a bit challenging.

The hotel is right across from the Malecón, making city tours and bike rentals super easy to book. We loved how spacious our twin bed room was, and the AC was a lifesaver in the Guayaquil heat. We definitely enjoyed the tasty vegetarian meals at the restaurant!
My kids wished for more family-friendly activities on-site.

great location , but some noise at night
The location is excellent. I was able to explore many attractions easily. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted with all my inquiries and airport transfers. The breakfast had delightful options that started my day off right.
Occasionally, outside noise disrupted my sleep.

I stayed in the Economy Double or Twin Room with Shared Bathroom for 2 nights. The room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the hand-painted wall decor! The AC was smooth, but the bathroom could use some updates as it felt a bit dated. WiFi was decent, which was a bonus. Noise from outside was slightly bothersome at times. The staff were amazing, especially when I had an eye emergency. Andy went out of her way to help me. Great experience overall!

The spacious twin room was a highlight, while the friendly staff made for a warm atmosphere. Meals in the onsite restaurant were delicious and budget-friendly. However, laundry service could be improved. Internet was quite spotty at times, with some noise from the street on busy weekends.

missingWrote a review on 08 Febfriendly staffgreat locationspacious roomnoise disturbance
Had a great time with friends here! The staff made everything easy, and we booked a bike rental for a cool city tour. The location is super convenient for hitting the waterfront and nearby restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean. There are plenty of outdoor spots to relax.
Unfortunately, there was some noise from a nearby private terrace that made it hard to sleep at times.

missingWrote a review on 19 Janspacious twinsea viewconstant noise
The spacious twin room came with a sea view and a secure door lock, adding an extra layer of comfort. Breakfast options like eggs and fruit were a pleasant surprise, offering a nice start to the day.
The private terrace on the last floor hosted loud parties that made sleep nearly impossible—definitely felt like an unwanted guest at someone else’s bash. The upper floor seemed abandoned with noticeable trash, detracting from the overall experience. Noise from nearby music on weekends turned my peaceful getaway into an urban concert. The front desk, apparently unaware of scheduled events, left guests navigating through a chaotic public flea market inside the hotel, raising safety concerns.
